Fresh off the production line and into the Affinesse stables.
This particular car came with quite a few delivery defects:
– Sanding marks
– Directional scratches and swirls
– Adhesive residue
– Touch-up spots
One of the more unusual defects was raised lines from moulding on the plastic bumpers. These moulding lines had extremely thin paint (or none at all) and had to be masked carefully to avoid easily removing the paint.
We set out to rectify these issues with a two-stage correction, removing as many marks as possible and amping up gloss to a better-than-factory standard. To lock this all in, two layers of Opti-Coat Pro+ were applied to the paintwork, with an extra layer of Conours Nova Jet for the finishing touch.
The swirls were numerous but difficult to capture as the vividness of the red paint caused clipping in the camera.
